I have been coming here for backbend and contortion classes for many months now. The training style is different from yoga and it is my missing piece. Ade has been really helpful in pointing out cues and what I need to work on. I have seen significant improvement in my core and back strength and backbending has never been this comfortable to do. Came for a stretch trial today and was really impressed. They reached out to me beforehand to give me (much-needed) directions how to find the studio and Hiromi was attentive and patient with her guidance in class. I’ve been to other flexibility classes at dance studios but this was much more specialised and higher level! Since my initial review, I’ve been coming regularly and roped my husband in for stretching classes as well. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years whenever I have time and the classes have been consistently high-quality and engaging! I’ve seen so much progress in my flexibility and strength - the classes taught here really work and are done safely. I’ve attended front & middle splits, backbend, and handstand classes. Started off with Aerial Silks class at the studio, and tried back ends and hammock now too! All the teachers in the studio are very patient and friendly. They will break down the tricks and spot you, making you feel safe attempting the tricks. Backbend classes are catered to students of different levels and make you understand how to do backbends the right way without getting injured.
